We are seeking an experienced HR Operations Coordinator to join our team at VanRath. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you can utilise your administrative skills to drive operational excellence and contribute to the success of our organisation.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the HR Services Team by performing various administrative tasks to ensure efficient operations and compliance with regulations.
  • Assisting with health surveillance routines and ensuring adherence to legal requirements and employee safety.
  • Coordinating uniform provision and maintaining accurate records to minimize discrepancies and maximize efficiency.
  • Administering service awards and assisting with related events to foster a positive work environment and employee engagement.
  • Managing maternity, paternity, parental leave, and flexible working requests to balance employee needs with business demands.
  • Maintaining accurate records and filing systems to guarantee easy access to critical information and reduce administrative burdens.
  • Monitoring database accuracy and running reports to identify trends and areas for improvement to inform strategic decisions.
  • Assisting with staff changes, new starters, and leavers to ensure seamless transitions and minimal disruptions.
  • Providing cover for other admin functions to demonstrate adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ensuring compliance with legal obligations and confidentiality to uphold the organization's reputation and trust.
  • Handling internal and external queries to deliver excellent customer service and resolve issues efficiently.

Requirements:

  • Essential:
  • A minimum of 1 year of office administration experience gained in a similar role or industry.
  • 3 GCSEs at Grade C or above including English & Maths or 2 years relevant experience demonstrating academic achievement and transferable skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office leveraging software applications to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Strong planning, organisational, and data analysis skills driving informed decision-making and effective task management.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks managing multiple projects and deadlines with minimal supervision.

Estimated Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum
