The Tiffany & Co. Retail Store Director will play a pivotal role in leading the sales team to meet and exceed sales plans and profitability targets. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fostering a store environment that embodies Service Excellence, ensuring that all staff members demonstrate behaviors that enhance client engagement and represent Tiffany Brand values. Effective communication and strategic planning will be essential in driving new client acquisition, re-engagement, and cultivation of Tiffany Register (TR) clients.
Key responsibilities include:
Fiscal Accountability
- Deliver profit plan sales and profitability targets by effectively managing day-to-day activities and driving business success.
- Demonstrate favorable audit control results and Return on Investment on major investments.
Service Excellence
- Develop and implement strategies to create a Service Excellence culture within the store, aligning with Tiffany Global Service Philosophy.
- Coach staff to reinforce Tiffany & Co. training concepts and develop necessary skills to deliver consistent Service Excellence.
Business Development
- Assess local market opportunities and develop proactive client development strategies to drive new client acquisition and retention.
- Communicate strategy and objectives to staff, utilizing Engage as a tool to execute client development plans.
Talent Management
- Build a robust internal and external talent pipeline through employee, client, and personal networking.
- Develop Talent: Hold quarterly performance review meetings to discuss performance, identify strengths, and close skill gaps through coaching and/or training.
The successful candidate can expect an estimated salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and location. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record in retail management.
