About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Control and Instrumentation Design Engineer to join our team at Panoramic Associates. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing control and instrumentation systems for our clients in the energy generation and distribution sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement control and instrumentation systems for energy generation and distribution projects
  • Lead and mentor junior members of the team to ensure the successful delivery of projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that proposed solutions are technically robust and meet client requirements
  • Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including technical submittals, descriptions of operation, commissioning and operation & maintenance documentation
Requirements
  • Proven experience in control and instrumentation design and implementation
  • Strong knowledge of PLC and SCADA systems, BMS, and control system protocols (Modbus, MBUS, BACnet, PROFINET, Ethernet etc.)
  • Ability to lead and mentor junior members of the team
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
