Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Supermarket Assistant. As a key member of our store team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist customers with their shopping, including answering questions about products and services, and making recommendations.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash and card payments.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge, staying up-to-date on new products and promotions.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive store environment, working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales and customer service targets.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy when handling cash and card transactions.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
