Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Supermarket Assistant. As a key member of our store team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist customers with their shopping needs, including answering questions about products and services.
  • Restock shelves, maintain a clean and organized store environment, and perform other tasks as required to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets and meet customer needs.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance product knowledge and customer service skills.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit transactions.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
