Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Supermarket Assistant. As a key member of our store team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist customers with their shopping, answering questions and making recommendations on products.
  • Restock shelves, maintain a clean and organized store environment, and ensure that all products are accurately priced and displayed.
  • Process transactions, handle customer payments, and maintain a high level of accuracy with cash handling.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets, meet customer needs, and maintain a positive store atmosphere.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with cash handling.
  • Ability to lift and move products, as well as stand for long periods of time.
