About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Highways Project Coordinator to join our team in Gloucestershire. This is a full-time position that requires a strong background in construction and civil engineering.

Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing junior engineers on site, assisting with construction operations, and collaborating with the Sub Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labour, equipment, and materials.

You will also be responsible for identifying and resolving technical issues, monitoring and coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring their work meets contractual requirements and quality assurance.

A key aspect of this role is ensuring the team has all necessary information and resources to perform their duties, producing schedules, progress reports, resource and cost plans, and contributing to financial forecasting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee junior engineers on site and assist with construction operations.
  • Collaborate with the Sub Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labour, equipment, and materials.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues in coordination with the senior team and Sub Agent.
Requirements
  1. HNC/Degree (construction/civil engineering related) or equivalent and working towards institute membership (ICE).
  2. CSCS White, White-Yellow, Red - Experienced, Black - Manager or Gold - Supervisor.
  3. Demonstration of knowledge and practical application of site engineering activities combined with construction supervision skills.
