Job Title: Highways Infrastructure Coordinator

Estimated Salary: £38,000 - £50,000 per annum

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Highways Infrastructure Coordinator to join our team in Gloucester. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing applications and legal agreements for 3rd party developers under various sections of the Highway Act 1980.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in highways development management issues, as well as a solid understanding of highway engineering and design standards.

This is an outstanding opportunity to contribute to complex legal agreements and provide technical guidance on highway-related matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage 3rd party developers' applications and legal agreements under Section 184, 278, and 38 of the Highway Act 1980.
  • Ensure proposals meet acceptable technical approval and future adoption standards with regards to maintenance requirements and sustainability.
  • Negotiate complex legal agreements.
  • Provide technical guidance on highway-related matters.

Essential Skills:
  • Significant experience in highways development management issues.
  • Knowledge of highways planning and development legislation.
  • Solid understanding of highway engineering and design standards.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Understanding of financial and social implications of providing economic sustainable development.
