Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Highways Development Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in highways development management, planning and legislation.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex legal agreements, negotiate with stakeholders, and provide technical feedback on highway-related matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing 3rd party developers' applications and legal agreements under Section 184, 278, and 38 of the Highway Act 1980.
  • Providing technical feedback to highway-related matters and negotiating complex legal agreements.
  • Liaising with specialist engineering consultants, e.g., street lighting, traffic signals, structures, etc.
  • On-site operations and working within a political environment.

Requirements

  • Substantial experience in highways development management, planning, and legislation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Negotiation skills and ability to interpret technical information.
  • Knowledge of highway engineering and design standards.

Salary and Benefits
