About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to join our team at Remedy Education in Southwark. This is an exciting opportunity to work with students who have special educational needs and help them achieve their full potential.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to students with SEN, adapting their teaching methods to meet the unique needs of each student. You will work closely with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to teaching and learning for all students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teaching and Support: Deliver engaging lessons to students with SEN, using a range of strategies to cater to their individual learning needs.
- Collaboration: Work effectively with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching methods.
- Communication: Establish strong relationships with parents and guardians to keep them informed about student progress.
- Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance your teaching skills and knowledge of SEN.

- Hours: 8:30am - 4:00pm
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Teaching qualification with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Experience: Previous experience in a UK primary school setting, particularly with SEN, is required.
- Training: Up-to-date safeguarding training issued within the last year is desirable; some training will be provided.
Eligibility Requirements:
- To be eligible for this role through Remedy Education, candidates must:
- Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
- Possess an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
- Provide two professional references related to childcare or education.
