About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and understanding individual to join our team as a Night Support Worker. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing outstanding support to our young adults with autism.

As a Night Support Worker, you will be responsible for supporting our adults with their personal care needs, promoting a healthy sleep and wake pattern, and providing direct support during the night when required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support our adults with their personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Promote a healthy sleep and wake pattern, using strategies to support our adults in establishing a consistent sleep routine.
  • Provide direct support to our adults during the night, responding to their needs and providing reassurance when required.
  • Work effectively as part of a small team, providing support and guidance to colleagues as needed.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be:

  • Compassionate and understanding, with a strong ability to empathize with our adults.
  • Excellent communicators, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and adults.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work effectively in a variety of situations.
  • Self-motivated and committed to the role, with a strong desire to make a positive difference in the lives of our adults.
