About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and well-organised individual to join our team as a Senior Emergency Response Officer.

This is an exciting opportunity to help the British Red Cross make a positive impact on individuals and communities in need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day delivery of services across multiple teams of volunteers, covering a broad geographical area.
  • Listen to volunteer and service user feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to our ways of working.
  • Work with external partners to grow and develop our offer and inspire teams to perform to a high standard.
  • Contribute to the development of operating plans and budgets, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively.
Requirements
  • Experience of maintaining effective relationships internally and externally, ideally with volunteers.
  • Experience of delivering on organisational priorities and managing budgets and data.
  • Strong IT skills and attention to detail, with excellent communication skills at all levels.
  • Able to respond to emergency situations and work outside normal hours, including weekends and evenings.
