Mkodo is a dynamic and innovative company that builds world-class apps, middleware, and digital products in the global lottery, betting, and gaming space. We are seeking an experienced Head of Engineering to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing Mobile, Middleware/Product, and Web Software Engineering teams, and will work closely with the Director of Technology & Engineering to create and maintain a strategic vision for the engineering team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Creating and maintaining a strategic vision for the engineering team.
  • Leading and directing a team of Software Engineers, providing coaching, mentoring, and support to drive team capability.
  • Ensuring project elements are within budget, on time, and to agreed scope.
  • Driving engineers and testers to understand client needs early in the SDLC and maintain engagement throughout.
  • Being accountable for the full development lifecycle to ensure output meets the highest quality standards before sign-off to clients.
