About the Role:
The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with significant experience in the Aerospace or Defence industry. They will lead programmes from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products to customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop comprehensive programme schedules using MS Project, considering technical requirements.
  2. Collaborate with the Engineering Manager to define design activities and schedules.
  3. Work closely with the Procurement Manager to ensure materials and components are delivered within defined schedules.
  4. Coordinate with the Production Manager to allocate build resources to the project, ensuring timely completion and factory testing.
  5. Organize regular project reviews throughout the lifecycle.
  6. Mitigate risks through effective risk management strategies.
  7. Serve as the primary customer liaison, reporting on project status, schedule, and risks.
  8. Ongoing international and domestic travel for project reviews at customer sites may be required.


Requirements:
  1. Degree-educated in Engineering or relevant industry or work-based experience.
  2. Qualified in Project Management or equivalent industry certification.
  3. Proficient in ERP/MRP systems and MS Project or other project management tools.
  4. Natural communicator with strong influencing skills.
  5. Experience in manufacturing, preferably in Aerospace & Defence.
  6. Direct dealings with customers and programmatic matters.
  7. Lead contract negotiations with suppliers.
  8. Ability to develop technical understanding of products and industry.
