The Marine Programme Manager plays a crucial role in shaping the future of Welsh seas. This exciting opportunity involves leading the continued development of Marine Fund Cymru, a ground-breaking initiative that aims to enhance the health of Welsh coasts and seas by attracting private investment in transformative projects and programmes.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the development of the fund's governance structures and policies
  • Managing relationships with key stakeholders, including investors and donors
  • Coordinating branding, publicity, and recruitment efforts for the fund's steering group
  • Collaborating with experts to design grant-making materials and oversee funding processes

This is a full-time position based in Wales, with a salary of approximately £36,000 per annum. You will work in a hybrid environment with access to offices in Cardiff, Aberystwyth, or Rhyl.

We are seeking a highly skilled professional with strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills. Knowledge of marine policy and experience delivering environmental improvements are also essential. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office for efficient project management is required.
