Job Title: Programme Management Director

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Programme Management Director to lead programmes from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products to customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop programme schedules using MS Project, taking into account technical requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering Manager to define design activities and schedules.
  • Work closely with the Procurement Manager to ensure materials and components are delivered within defined schedules.
  • Coordinate with the Production Manager to allocate build resources to the project, ensuring timely completion and factory testing.
  • Organize regular project reviews throughout the lifecycle.
  • Mitigate risks through effective risk management strategies.
  • Serve as the primary customer liaison, reporting on project status, schedule, and risks.


Requirements:
  • Degree-educated in Engineering or relevant industry or work-based experience.
  • Qualified in Project Management or equivalent industry certification.
  • Proficient in ERP/MRP systems and MS Project or other project management tools.
  • Natural communicator with strong influencing skills.
  • Experience in manufacturing, preferably in Aerospace & Defence.
  • Direct dealings with customers and programmatic matters.
