About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Children's Home Registered Manager to join our team in Hull. As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of care professionals in providing exceptional care and support to young people in our residential home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive care plans that address the unique needs of each young person.
  • Lead and manage a team of care professionals to ensure high-quality care and support.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including parents, carers, and other professionals, to promote the welfare of young people.
  • Ensure the home is maintained to a high standard, meeting the needs of young people and adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Manage and resolve complaints and concerns in a timely and effective manner.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant experience in a residential care setting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Level 3 in Children's Residential Care is essential, with Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare preferred.
  • Knowledge of The Quality Standards, SCCIF, childcare legislation, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • A full UK driving license is required.
