Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated support worker to join our team in the Department's Children's Homes. As a support worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to children with complex needs.




  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Communicate effectively with children and assist with social, personal, and physical care.
  • Implement Therapeutic Crisis Intervention and Restorative Practices in daily practices.
  • Work as part of a team to provide a high-quality effective service to meet the needs of children in the home.
  • Assist children with disability-related tasks, including moving and handling.


Requirements

Essential Skills and Qualifications:




  • Experience working in a social care environment.
  • Ability to work irregular hours, as and when required.
  • Desirable: Experience working with children in a paid or voluntary capacity.
