English Curriculum Specialist

Aldridge Education seeks an accomplished English Curriculum Specialist to drive the English curriculum forward, ensuring exceptional teaching and learning across the department.
About the RoleAs a seasoned educator with a track record of outstanding teaching and leadership within English education, you will be responsible for prioritizing, planning, and organizing effective educational strategies. Your expertise in implementing creative teaching methods that engage and motivate students is crucial.
The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of the English curriculum, assessment, and strategies for driving student progress. You should have a proven ability to use data effectively and demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and awareness of the latest initiatives in English education.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement innovative educational programs to enhance student engagement and achievement
- Collaborate with colleagues to drive the English curriculum forward and ensure high standards of teaching and learning
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of educational best practices and incorporate this into your teaching approaches
We are seeking an experienced educator who has:
- Qualified Teacher Status
- A relevant degree
- Experience of teaching in the 11-16 sector
The ideal candidate will also have:
- Prior experience in a similar role or as a senior member of staff
- An understanding of current educational issues and strategies for raising standards
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
