Job Overview

Red Lester Ltd is seeking an experienced and passionate English Curriculum Specialist to join our team in a mixed SEN School in Hampshire. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering the English curriculum, creating a stimulating environment that engages pupils in English, and instilling confidence among pupils from KS2 to KS4.

As a Schools' English Expert, you will work closely with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching methods that cater to the needs of students with special educational needs. Your passion for teaching English and strong classroom management skills will be invaluable in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality English lessons to students aged 7-16 with diverse learning needs
  • Develop and implement individualized lesson plans that meet the unique needs of each student
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive school culture
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance

Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Degree in English or related subject
  • Experience in teaching English in a SEN setting (ideal but not essential)
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
