Clinical Paediatric Diabetes Specialist

**Job Overview**
We are seeking a skilled Clinical Paediatric Diabetes Specialist to join our team at The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide specialist paediatric diabetes care management for children and young people across West Essex and specific areas within East & North Hertfordshire.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with long-term conditions, including those with psychosocial needs. You will work closely with the wider team and multi-disciplinary teams to provide holistic specialist nursing care in the hospital, home, or community setting.
Main Responsibilities- To support the provision of specialist diabetes nursing care for children and young people across the designated areas.
- Provide support and advice to children, young people, and their families from diagnosis through to discharge/transition to adult services.
- To ensure that all children and young people have individual care plans in conjunction with the multi-disciplinary team.
- To work towards acting as a source of specialist advice for children, young people, and families on the nursing care and management of diabetes.
Salary: £38,890 - £44,882 per annum.
