Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and self-directed Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for collaborating with our QA team to understand software defects and validating corrections.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the QA team to understand software defects and validate corrections.
- Participate in QA and design reviews to maintain our high development standards.
- Keep abreast of the latest advancements in technology to ensure our QA processes and tools are updated.
- Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Identify and report defects to the development team.
- Work closely with the development team to resolve defects and implement fixes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of a programming language, such as Python, Java, C++, etc.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle models as well as knowledge of Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of testing methodologies and the defect reporting process.
- Highly motivated and self-directed, capable of multi-tasking, and able to work with minimal supervision.
