Job Title: Team Leader - EBD Children's Service

Location: Northolt

Salary: £15.70 per hour (40 hours per week) + Sleep-ins paid at £70.50 per night

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader to join our dedicated team in a 2-bedded EBD children's service in Northolt. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading and supporting a team of care staff, ensuring high standards of care for the children and young people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support a team of care staff, ensuring high standards of care for the children and young people.
  • Work closely with the management team to implement care plans and ensure that the service meets the needs of each child.
  • Take an active role in the day-to-day running of the home, including hands-on care and support.
  • Ensure that the service complies with all regulatory requirements, including Ofsted standards.
  • Be responsible for safeguarding, risk management, and ensuring the safety and well-being of the young people in your care.
  • Mentor and guide staff, providing support and supervision to ensure a motivated and skilled team.

Shift Pattern:

The role involves working early shifts, late shifts, long days, and sleep-ins to meet the needs of the service. Sleep-ins are paid at £70.50 per night. Shifts will be given 1 month in advance.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD).
  • Leadership skills and experience working in a residential children's setting.
