Based in Southampton, you will play a key role in driving brand awareness and consideration through earned media in the UK and Ireland.

This is a fantastic chance to work with a leading global brand, fuelling people's passions by creating superior products for sports, outdoor recreation, marine, and automotive. As a Public Relations Specialist, you will be responsible for managing our press strategies for product launches, developing and cultivating media relationships, and tracking campaign performance to monitor effectiveness.

We are looking for an accomplished PR manager with a successful track record of driving outstanding media coverage across all media channels. You will have an excellent knowledge of the UK & Ireland media landscape, a passion for sports & fitness, and experience line managing, coaching, and developing talent. In return, we offer a salary of £42,000-£50,000 plus excellent benefits including health insurance, pension, generous holidays, social events, and a relaxed and friendly ethos.

You will work closely with our marketing team to develop and deliver best-in-class PR strategies, leveraging your expertise to create unique PR campaigns that excite and engage consumers in market. With responsibility for driving brand awareness and consideration via earned media, you will play an active role in managing Garmin's reputation in the UK and Ireland.

As a Public Relations Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from product launches to brand storytelling. You will be responsible for pitching stories and managing interviews with Garmin athletes, ambassadors, and sponsorship partners.
