Audit Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Services Leader to join our team at Johnston Carmichael. As a Senior Financial Services Leader, you will be responsible for leading our CASS audit team and ensuring the efficient and effective management of audit work.
About the Role:The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of CASS regulations and experience in leading teams. You will be responsible for planning and managing CASS audits, maintaining technical knowledge of CASS and related FCA regulations, and providing technical support to clients. Additionally, you will work closely with the audit team to ensure that audit work is managed efficiently and effectively from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and manage CASS audits
- Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of CASS and related FCA regulations
- Provide technical support to clients
- Work closely with the audit team to ensure efficient and effective management of audit work
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (or equivalent)
- Experience in leading CASS teams
- Strong technical knowledge of CASS and understanding of key current issues and regulatory developments facing CASS Audit clients
- Strong industry knowledge, ideally within wealth and investment management
- Practical experience of using operational software systems
£70,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience.
