About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Barts Health NHS Trust.

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for providing a Medicines Management service to ward areas, working unsupervised in clinical areas.

You will also be responsible for day-to-day line management of pharmacy support workers and undertaking duties and responsibilities as an Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACPT).

Additionally, you will participate in the recruitment and selection of Pharmacy staff and provide a patient-facing service to the inpatient wards.

Main Responsibilities

  • Undertake projects to support the development of systems for service provision.
  • Provide a Medicines Management service to ward areas.
  • Day-to-day line management of pharmacy support workers.
  • Undertake duties and responsibilities as an Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACPT).
  • Participate in the recruitment and selection of Pharmacy staff.
  • Provide a patient-facing service to the inpatient wards.
