Lead Medicines Management Pharmacy Technician

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team as a Lead Medicines Management Pharmacy Technician at the Royal London Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of Pharmacy Technicians and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a team of Pharmacy Technicians, pre-registration pharmacy technicians, and Medicines Management pharmacy assistants.
- Provide a patient-facing service to inpatient wards and organize the operational flow of the service.
- Develop and promote ward-based pharmacy technician services.
- Assist pharmacists in ensuring patients' pharmaceutical care needs are met at ward level.
- Develop the service and roles of Medicines Management Technicians in conjunction with the clinical pharmacy team.

Requirements
- BTEC Pharmaceutical Sciences/NVQ 3 or equivalent.
- Registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACPT) qualification.
- HEE LaSE Medicines Optimisation qualification or equivalent.
- Significant experience as a pharmacy technician, including relevant post-registration experience in a hospital pharmacy department and as a ward-based Medicines Management Pharmacy Technician.
