Lead Educator and Learning Facilitator

Position Overview:As a Secondary School Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our students. Your passion for teaching and dedication to their development will be the driving force behind our educational success.
Responsibilities:
- Create engaging lesson plans tailored to meet the diverse needs of our students, ensuring they achieve academic excellence.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages active participation and collaboration among students.
- Utilize innovative teaching methods to inspire a love for learning and critical thinking, making complex concepts accessible to all.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help them overcome challenges.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the school community to enhance the learning experience and promote a culture of mutual respect.
- Promote a safe and respectful classroom environment that values diversity, inclusivity, and empathy.
- Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development to stay updated on best practices and methodologies.
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher status (QTS) or equivalent qualification
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to apply for one
- Ability to mark and plan exciting lessons for students that align with the curriculum
- Experience working within a Secondary school setting, preferably with a proven track record of delivering results
- Strong communication skills to build positive relationships with staff, students, and governors
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- The right to work in the UK
- An up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years
- A DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one through GSL Education
