Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Supporting Education Professional to join our client school in Winchester, where you will play a key role in shaping young minds and guiding students on their path to success.

About the Role:

As a Supporting Education Professional, you will support the class teacher in delivering dynamic lessons and ensuring that all students receive the assistance necessary for academic success. Your responsibilities will include facilitating daily classroom activities, providing targeted support to small groups, and offering dedicated guidance to students requiring additional assistance.

Responsibilities of the Supporting Education Professional:

  • Work with the class teacher to deliver inclusive lessons tailored to diverse needs.
  • Support daily activities to foster an engaging learning environment.
  • Provide focused assistance to small groups and students needing extra help.
  • Build positive student relationships, supporting social, emotional, and academic growth.
  • Track and report student progress to inform and enhance learning strategies.

Requirements of the Supporting Education Professional:

  • Hold a bachelor's degree in education or a related field.
  • A proactive, compassionate approach to supporting students and adapting to their unique needs.
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanour to connect effectively with students and staff.
  • A genuine passion for education and a commitment to helping students thrive.
  • Prior experience in a supporting education professional role is beneficial.
  • A collaborative spirit and the ability to adapt to various classroom dynamics.
  • Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
