Role Overview:

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our education strategy and drive excellence in education across Hampshire.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive education strategy that aligns with the council's vision and goals.
  • Lead and manage a team of education professionals to ensure effective delivery of education services.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to promote education excellence and improve outcomes for children and young people.
  • Advise senior leaders on education policy and practice to inform decision-making.
  • Monitor and evaluate education performance to identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of leading and managing education teams to achieve outstanding results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Knowledge of education policy and practice with the ability to advise senior leaders on effective strategies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other teams to achieve shared goals.
