We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Professional to join our team at Sparsholt College Group.

The role involves providing academic and emotional support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Educational Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).

You will work closely with our Additional Learning Support (ALS) team to ensure students receive the necessary support to reach their full potential.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with young people, ideally in an educational setting, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A 'can-do' attitude, a good standard of education including English and Maths at grade C/4 or above, and a willingness to undertake further training are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualised support to students with SEN and EHCPs
  • Liaise with parents and carers to ensure EHCP requirements are met
  • Work with SEN officers to review student progress and set targets
  • Support students in class and throughout the college day
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement support strategies
