Senior Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Community Mental Health Team in Basingstoke. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing occupational therapy interventions to clients using evidence-based, client-centered principles.
Key Responsibilities- Provide occupational therapy interventions for referred clients, including group work and functional assessments.
- Support the completion of funding applications and hold a small Care Co-ordinator caseload alongside a focused Occupational Therapy caseload.
- Be a part of the Shared Care rota and promote and develop the role of Occupational Therapy within the clinical area.
- Regularly supervise OT students and provide education and upskilling to community support workers.

Person Specification- Essential qualifications include a Degree/Diploma in occupational therapy, registration with HCPC, and postgraduate level study/training.
- Training in the use of standardized occupational therapy assessment tools, such as MOHO, VdT MoCA, and COPM, is also required.
