Research Scientist Medicinal Chemistry

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Scientist to join our dynamic and fast-paced Medicinal Chemistry team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and synthesizing novel Bicycles and conjugates to develop lead candidates.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and synthesis of bioactive Bicycle peptides to a set Target Product Profile
- Collaboration with project teams to progress Bicycle's oncology pipeline
- Management of external resources to deliver on synthetic and analytical tasks
- Presenting research results effectively to line managers, project team members, and management level meetings
- Coordination of chemistry at external contract research organizations (CROs)
- Preparation of reports and contribution to drafting patent filings and journal manuscripts
- Relevant industry or academic experience in contemporary medicinal chemistry and design and synthesis of bioactive peptides and conjugates
- Experience in interpreting SAR data desirable
- Demonstrated experience in managing external resources to accomplish project tasks
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently, flexibly, and reliably
- Team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills
