Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Scientist to join our dynamic and fast-paced Medicinal Chemistry team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and synthesizing novel Bicycles and conjugates to develop lead candidates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and synthesis of bioactive Bicycle peptides to meet Target Product Profiles
  • Collaboration with project teams to progress Bicycle's oncology pipeline
  • Management of external resources to deliver synthetic and analytical tasks
  • Presenting research results effectively to line managers, project teams, and management
  • Coordination of chemistry at external contract research organizations (CROs)
  • Preparation of reports and contribution to patent filings and journal manuscripts
Requirements
  • Relevant industry or academic experience in medicinal chemistry and peptide synthesis
  • Experience in interpreting SAR data and managing external resources
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Innovative and entrepreneurial mindset
