Job Title: Research Scientist, Medicinal Chemistry

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Scientist to join our dynamic and fast-paced Medicinal Chemistry team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and synthesizing novel Bicycles and conjugates to develop lead candidates.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and synthesis of novel Bicycles and conjugates
  • Management of external resources to deliver on synthetic and analytical tasks
  • Collaboration with the scientific team to progress Bicycle's oncology pipeline
  • Development of chemistry plans and project tracking
  • Coordination of chemistry at external contract research organizations (CROs)
  • Preparation of reports and contribution to drafting patent filings and journal manuscripts
Qualifications:
  • Relevant industry or academic experience in contemporary medicinal chemistry and in the design and synthesis of bioactive peptides and conjugates
  • Experience in interpreting SAR data desirable
  • Demonstrated experience in managing external resources to accomplish project tasks
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently, flexibly and reliably
  • Team player who collaborates and communicates effectively in a team environment
