Job Title: Adult Community Physiotherapist

Location: North West London

Salary: Up to £33 per hour (estimated annual salary: £57,120)

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team at a leading healthcare provider in North West London. As a Locum Physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to adults with learning disabilities, utilizing evidence-based practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver physiotherapy interventions to individuals with learning disabilities, promoting independence and enhancing quality of life.
  2. Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, and deliver tailored care pathways.
  3. Provide supervision and mentorship to junior physiotherapists and students.
  4. Utilize specialized therapies such as rebound therapy and aquatic therapy to meet client needs.
  5. Support individuals with musculoskeletal, neurological/rehabilitation, and elderly care needs.
  6. Promote holistic care and address challenging behaviours with sensitivity and professionalism.

Requirements:

  1. Broad rotational physiotherapy experience across musculoskeletal, neurology/rehabilitation, and elderly care settings.
  2. HCPC registration.
  3. Demonstrated experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team, including goal planning and pathway development.
  4. Experience in using and evaluating outcome measures in practice.
  5. Specific experience working with adults with learning disabilities and challenging behaviours.
  6. Skills in rebound therapy and aquatic therapy.
  7. Proven ability to supervise and support junior physiotherapists and students.
