About the Role

The NHS Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire Integrated Care Board is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Planning Coordinator to join their team. As a key member of the Strategy and Planning Team, you will play a crucial role in designing, managing, supporting and monitoring effective system strategy development, planning and assurance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent the system internally and externally in respect of system strategy development and planning.
  • Add value to the work of the ICB, directorate, and system partners by building and facilitating supportive and sustainable networks to enable efficient and effective system working.
  • Provide constructive, evidence-based challenge to strengthen the rigour of BNSSG strategy, planning and assurance processes.

Requirements

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent level of experience of working at a management level in specialist area.
  • Knowledge of specialist areas, acquired through post graduate diploma or equivalent experience or training plus further specialist knowledge or experience.
  • Evidence of post qualifying and continuing professional development.
  • Must have an understanding of the background to and aims of current healthcare policy and appreciate the implications of this on engagement and understanding of contracting and procurement.
  • Experience of successfully operating in a politically sensitive environment.
