Strategic Planning and Delivery Manager

We are seeking an experienced Planning professional to join our team at Homes England. As a Strategic Planning and Delivery Manager, you will play a key role in planning and delivering homes on public land as part of new and expanding communities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Secure planning permissions
* Guide implementation to help create successful new communities where people want to live
About the Role:
This is a unique opportunity to support housing delivery on a range of sites and scales. You will be joining our highly skilled and friendly team who are committed to making positive change in how land is unlocked to deliver new homes in great neighbourhoods.
What You Will Do:
* Work with key stakeholders, communities, and a professional team of built environment professionals to deliver key strategic projects around the south of England
* Use experience and creative thinking to instruct/interpret outline planning permissions
* Navigate the planning system, working on a range of planning issues including community engagement, technical considerations, and negotiations with local authorities
Requirements:
* Good project management skills and ability to manage colleagues and consultants
* Experience of development/house building and community engagement
