Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated Care Worker to join our well-established team at The Grange. This residential facility offers a supportive environment for adults who require long-term care, tailoring our services to enable individuals to live fulfilling lives.
Key Responsibilities- Support residents with personal care, domestic tasks, medication, and health-related activities in line with agreed care plans.
- Provide emotional support that meets social and psychological needs.
- Assist residents in maintaining their independence by performing various tasks.
- Record daily activities and update care plans as needed.
- Liaise with colleagues, external agencies, and family members/carers to ensure comprehensive support.
- Prioritize the safeguarding of vulnerable adults.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to recording systems.
- Previous experience in caring for others (work-based, voluntary, or personal).
- Empathy and understanding of vulnerable individuals' needs.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
