Your Role:

As a Head Chef with HC-One, you will be responsible for leading our culinary team to deliver high-quality meals that meet the dietary needs of our Residents. You will work collaboratively with our care staff to understand individual preferences and requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• To plan, prepare, and cook healthy meals that cater to the diverse tastes and dietary needs of our Residents
  
• To manage kitchen operations, including inventory management, food safety, and hygiene practices
  
• To supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure they meet the required standards
  
• To maintain accurate records of menu planning, food preparation, and nutritional information
  
• To stay up-to-date with the latest food trends, nutrition knowledge, and cooking techniques
  

Requirements:

You must have relevant experience as a chef or head chef in a care home or similar setting. A level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate and a minimum of NVQ2 in Catering & Hospitality or Professional Cookery are essential. Strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work under pressure are also vital.
