Chemical Sales Manager

Our client, NES Fircroft, has a presence around the globe and works within water, wastewater, and process challenges within industries including Power, Pharmaceutical, Oil & Gas, and Chemicals. Due to continued success, they are now looking to recruit an experienced Account Manager to work within Specialty Water and Process Chemicals in the Lincolnshire and Humber region.
As Sales and Marketing Specialist, you will maintain and develop client relationships, demonstrating system knowledge, effective contract management of existing accounts, and generation of new sales. You will be selling, demonstrating, and promoting our range of specialty water and process chemicals and monitoring technologies.
The role involves:
- Working with customers and prospects to meet desired sales and service needs.
- Developing and executing customer account sales plans, coordinating all proposal activity, from generating quotes to processing PO's.
- Coordinating support resources to maintain and grow existing and win/close new accounts.
- Participating in plant visits, audit/survey, and any trial working. Where required, conducting appropriate water analysis/testing and reporting.
- Maintaining the integrity of strategies and implementation of sales/marketing programs to achieve sales goals within your assigned territory/market.
Salary Estimate: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum based on experience.
Requirements:
- A Degree in Chemical, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Knowledge of specialty water and process chemicals and associated monitoring technologies.
- Demonstrating excellent project management experience and a track record of exceeding targets.
- Your background will be in Account Management or sales in a water/process treatment company or industrial plant.
- Proven experience in value delivery and selling strategies, winning new accounts, and developing markets.
- A UK driving license is a must.
