About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Nursery Manager to join our team at Tops Day Nurseries Ltd. As a key member of our management team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of care and education for our children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of nursery staff to deliver high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years.
  • Develop and implement educational programs that meet the needs of all children, including those with special needs.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of care and education provided, making recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of services and achieve business objectives.
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure efficient use of funds and optimal outcomes for children.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with parents, carers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and partnership working.
  • Conduct regular staff appraisals and provide coaching and training to support staff development.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including Ofsted inspections and child protection policies.
Requirements
  • Minimum of a Level 3 Early Years Qualification.
  • Proven experience in a senior management role within a childcare setting.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a customer-focused approach.
  • Knowledge of childcare legislation, policies, and procedures, including Ofsted requirements.
