About the Role
Tops Day Nurseries is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Nursery Manager to join our team. As a Senior Nursery Manager, you will play a key role in creating a safe, educational, and fun environment for children in our care.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support a team of nursery staff to ensure the highest standards of childcare and education.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate programs of activities and events to promote children's learning and development.
- Monitor and maintain the condition of the nursery and equipment, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for children and staff.
- Manage the nursery budget and make financial decisions to ensure the smooth operation of the nursery.
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers to keep them informed about their child's progress and well-being.
- Conduct interviews and assessments to ensure the best possible match for children and staff.
Requirements
- A minimum of a Level 3 Early Years Qualification.
- Proven experience in managing a nursery setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and lead by example.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
