Accruals and Reconciliations Specialist

About the RoleThis Accounts Assistant position supports our accounting team in managing financial tasks, producing reports, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities- Support with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Reconcile accounts and manage cash flow
- Assist with regulatory returns preparation and audit responses
- Participate in ad-hoc accounting projects as required
- Part-qualified (ACCA or AAT) or qualified by experience in an accounting role, ideally within the financial services sector
- Working knowledge of UK GAAP accounting principles and relevant standards
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in MS Office, especially MS Excel
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Competitive salary of £29,000 to £35,500 dependent on experience
