Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate classroom assistant to work with children aged 2-19 who have severe, complex, profound, and multiple learning difficulties or autism.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise pupils in school classes and ensure their safety while on school premises
- Assist pupils with toileting and personal care as needed
- Support pupils during playtime and outdoor activities
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members to develop and implement individualized plans for each pupil
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A good general education
- Minimum 1 year experience working with children or young people in the UK
- Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued within the last year
