We are seeking an experienced Classroom Support Staff for Learners with Disabilities to join our team at Prospero Teaching.

Job Summary:

  • Provide support to children with severe, complex, profound, and multiple learning difficulties or autism in a classroom setting.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to develop and implement individualized plans for pupils.
  • Assist pupils with their daily activities, including toileting and personal care, while maintaining a safe and supportive environment.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of one year's experience working with children or young people in the UK, preferably in a SEN setting.
  • Up-to-date safeguarding training issued within the last year.
  • Good general education and ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Minimum hourly rate: £12.98.
  • Full-time position available, working 8 hours per day.
  • Temp-to-perm contract possible, depending on performance and school needs.
