Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our Operations Team as a Management Degree Apprentice. This is a unique opportunity to develop leadership skills while working in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the management of one or more processes across our operation, leading a small team of up to 20 employees on their shift. As an apprentice, you will dedicate 20% of your working time to studies, attending seminars, writing assignments, and completing other 'off-the-job' learning activities.
The Chartered Management Degree Apprenticeship is delivered by Manchester Metropolitan University over a three-year period. You will have the opportunity to develop strategic leadership, operations, technology, sales, marketing, and business finance skills. Later units will explore project management, strategy, digital technologies in business, and leadership techniques.
Key responsibilities include ensuring customer orders are fulfilled per quality guidelines, assigning work to employees, developing subject matter expertise, creating a safety culture, delivering coaching and feedback, supporting management with tracking and reporting, and driving actions to remove barriers impacting good shift performance.
In return, we offer a competitive salary of £28,000 per annum, flexible working hours, and opportunities for professional development. To be eligible for this apprenticeship program, you must have lived in the UK or EU for the last three years, have the right to work in the UK, and be a resident of the UK for the entire duration of the program.
