JEM Childcare Solutions is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Deputy Manager to contribute to the smooth operation of our esteemed childcare facility.

Reporting directly to the Nursery Manager, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. Your responsibilities will encompass supporting all teams within the nursery, ensuring adherence to best practices, and promoting the well-being of every child, staff member, parent, and visitor.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate closely with the Nursery Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the nursery.
  • Provide guidance and support to all nursery teams, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Ensure that all team members deliver enriching and age-appropriate experiences for children, encompassing stimulating environments, resources, and activities.
  • Champion the safety and well-being of every individual within the nursery setting.
  • Lead and mentor your team, providing ongoing support and training to ensure adherence to best practices and industry standards.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the statutory framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Curriculum and Ofsted requirements.
Qualifications and Experience:

We seek a highly qualified and experienced individual with:

  • A Level 3 qualification or above in Early Childhood Education.
  • Minimum of four years of experience working in a nursery setting.
  • At least two years of experience in a leadership role within childcare.
