About Us
At JEM Childcare Solutions, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Nursery Manager to collaborate with our management team in overseeing the daily operations of our nurturing environment.

Position Overview
This full-time role involves working 38 hours per week with a competitive salary of approximately £33,000, complemented by an attractive benefits package.

Our Nursery
Our facility is designed to accommodate 88 children and is situated in a vibrant community, with access to beautiful outdoor spaces that enhance our educational programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in managing the nursery's daily functions alongside the Nursery Manager.
  • Support all teams in delivering engaging and age-appropriate experiences for children.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of every child, staff member, parent, and visitor.
  • Lead and mentor your team, addressing their training needs to uphold best practices.
  • Comply with the statutory framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Ofsted requirements.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Level 3 qualification or higher in childcare.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in a nursery setting.
  • At least 2 years of leadership experience in a similar role.
