About Us
At JEM Childcare Solutions, we are dedicated to providing exceptional early years education and care. We are currently seeking an experienced Assistant Nursery Manager to join our vibrant team and collaborate closely with the Nursery Manager in the daily operations of our nurturing environment.

Position Overview
This role involves working 38 hours per week with a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package.

Our Nursery
We are proud to offer a welcoming setting that accommodates up to 88 children, designed to promote exploration and learning through both indoor and outdoor activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the management of the Nursery, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Support all teams in delivering engaging and developmentally appropriate experiences for children.
  • Prioritize the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff member, parent, and visitor.
  • Lead and mentor your team, addressing their training needs to uphold best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with the statutory framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Ofsted standards.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of a Level 3 qualification in childcare or equivalent.
  • At least 4 years of experience working in a nursery setting.
  • A minimum of 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
